Do I have to put my name in brackets, or is it automatic? (xiphias)

    Hello!

I read a bunch of stuff in these forums trying to figure out what I could expect on my practical tests, I figure it's about time I signed up and said hello.

So... I've been riding in Auckland for 2 1/2 years, got my full license about 1 1/2 years ago.

I ride a VTR250 and put about 70kms on it daily for the commute come rain or shine.

I'm starting to get restless now and would like do some group rides, meet like minded people and do some track days. I want to get some time on the track with the VTR250 before I get another bike - which I'm also itching to do. Getting ready to put the second car on trademe to fund it!

I'm not sure where to rank my skill, I mostly ride alone, and never rode with more than one other person - a track day ought to find that out soon enough though.

Here's to a summer of riding (and not just up and down the southern motorway)
    Cheers.

    Edit:
Turns out: the subject - not so automatic.

I think the mods do it when they see your first post and get around to it. I imagine they're grateful of the help from the observant that do it themselves though.

This Mod is stunned. You, xiphias, are unique amongst new members in being able to spot a trend. High hopes are held for your contribution to the site.

You don't have a red VTR but any chance do you? Commute on the southern at all?

No, I've seen it a few times, but not recently though. Mine's blue. I travel from Papakura to the CBD.

Thanks for the link to AMCC, BoristheBiter. It looks interesting, I'm certainly keen on improving my bike craft.

As far as - high expections go. I have a tendency of shooting myself in the foot by setting the bar high initially, and then spending forever getting nowhere near it .
