My XV250 bobber build (first bike)

    Hey there guys,

I'm new to the forum but I have recently just purchased my first bike which is a xv250 and i'm planning to turn it into a bobber.
I've started on the basic things but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

This is the bike when I bought it, It was sitting over winter so had no WOF and rego.
Had to change calipers and do fork seals for a WOF.

After I got the WOF, Raised the fork up the tree about an inch, flipped the original handle bars and reverse mounted them also removed front fender.

Then I got some Hard Tail Struts for it which are 10'' and lowered it about 2''

Planning to change the rear fender completely and tidying up everything, also vinyl wrap the tank and fenders!

great little bike you got there mate! i reckon your a bit mad 'cos itd be a gem to ride in standard trim...but i know thats not what you want lol
mind you, most of what you want to do is easily reversable...are you gunna fit a small bobtail rear on her? high pipes like harley flat tracker style would look tough as fuck!

    have fun

they spent decades trying to design bikes to make them better and safer to ride and you've removed some of the good bits.

put it back to standard ish with the suspension and handlebars and LEARN TO RIDE first then once you can ride start making it awkward and unsafe.
Bobbers might be cool and all but the roads are harsh out there and right now at the beginning of your motorcycling career you need every chance you can get.
