Hey guys! Did anyone go to the highlands 101 last year or know someone who did? Looking at going this year but unsure.... good value for money etc? And was accommodation very hard to find? Not looking to have a huge spend up over the weekend if I did go but would love to see those GT3 cars and the museum down there too.

Didn't go to 101 but went to the Festival of Speed over Easter.
Fantastic place, lots of kid friendly stuff (bouncy castles, face painting, bubble magician, hula hooping, stilt walkers etc etc) and lots of good grub. Even picked up a pair of jeans from a stall for a fiver! As well as a heap of cars tearing about some asphalt ribbon thingamajig..
Museum was a little empty over that weekend which was unfortunate, but think that was cos some of the contents was getting a 'dusting off'....
Thoroughly enjoyed it.
