well with Tokoroa done & dusted (I'm writing this from the future, but I won't include a spoiler of who won) thoughts now turn to Taumarunui (January 4/5).
More so as I might actually make it to this round.
Its really close to Christmas & NYE, but with a small amount of planning you can turn the Christmas break into a great event with some racing at a fun track & maybe the odd tipple, which is not inconsistent with the time of the year.

It is a great setting, bring kids if you (generic) have to, toilets and kitchen area on site, river down the back, farm next door, town 10 minutes away (watch out for the cops), hospital just out of town on the Forgotten Highway (how do we know this, Hels and Henk?), supermarket in town, great place.Originally Posted by F5 Dave
