It ran something like 149mph through the flying mile, John White's Trident was about 3-4 mph faster about 153 mph

Yerss, well, believe that if you wish...Shortly after that, we (canterbury) borrowed the timing gear for a flying quarter. It was very interesting to find that the wires connecting the timing lights were at least 20 meters too short.....

I know you guys have been worried about my tire. Lindsay didn't have the tire i needed (that day) so he sent me to Duanne's MC shop on Waterloo in Chch. Great guys. Much cursing ensued as Duanne had to grind a large Allen wrench to fit the Victory's axle nut.

Bike steers much better now.
