He's in Oamaru ..fwiw ......... I still have the yellow painted Tacho off his bike tucked away somewhere.

    H2 Trivia..The Worlds quickest Kawasaki H2 750 run's 7.70 ET / 170 mph,it might have got even quicker lately.

    Hi
Yes I met Eric Shepherd at the 2003 Nationals. It was the first year I ran my original RD400 Drag bike.
Didn't actually know who he was back then but he sure smelt that Castrol R and came looking.
Here is a link to his H2 Triple.
    http://kawtriple.com/mraxl/articles/psychadelic750.htm
I have since realized who it was I was talking to that year and have know Ken Stoplman...one of NZ Drag bike racings true gentalmen...since then.
Also saw a video of that H2 do the 7.70 run...stunning
Will try hard to get the RD running for the end of the season...Meremere needs to have that Castrol R smell back !!!
    Thanks
    Richard

P.S..I have always wanted to build a triple engined Drag bike...3 x RD400 motors = 1200cc pure 2 Stroke...It will happen one day!!!

I donated the S1 tripple forks,
and rember the first time we fired it up
in his drive was fuckin awsome
    (we had to push it)
Have always looked at putting RD400 cyls on an H1 tripple
Making a tripple engined bike would need a lot of time on
a mill but could be done
There was a tripple engined tripple 3XH2
    ran 8.2 on pump gas
a lot of the bits eric had were done by
Fast By Gast in the states

I think i gave Eric a H2C clutch activator once... When he went to the Dyna ignition i got a bunch of the stock H2 electronic parts he had for a "very" reasonable price.
I think the quickest RD400 is running somewhere in the 9's... The record was first held by the same folk who did the 7.7 H2 but may have been beaten by a Brit based RD later on.?

    Hi
Mr Peanut...Why...you think they might be a tad loud ?
No warrant need as it will be racing as a D/PRO bike.
Tech inspected bikes dont need warrants to race.

Mamax...thanks for the offer. It will ages before I look at
doing the triple.By then I will most likly have some other sort of
    gearbox sorted.
    Thanks
