    Opening GoPro files?

I have been playing with my new toy, a GoPro camera. Today when viewing my latest spin around the block the SD card shows a LRV file of 65.365kb, besides the mp4 video clip. I cant seem to open this file. I had thought it may have been one of the camera modes, eg burst or time lapse.

What is this file? It has not appeared when viewing earlier clips.Tried the find a programme on line suggestion but get nothing.

Google is a wonderful thing. The following was the first hit for "gopro lvr file".

Thanks, I'd just been visiting that site but missed this page. Cheers.

This is what it says. " These files are necessary to support the Copy, Playback, and Share functionality in the latest version of the GoPro App." As I have decided that the smartphone app is not needed, I'll ignore the .thm and irv files.

Since posting the above post, I've decided to upgrade the old Motorola. The new LG has a 4.1 android platform so I'm thinking of downloading the Gopro app to act as a remote for the camera.

Has anyone bothered to use this app? Have you had any major problems getting the Gopro app to work?
