Anne was seen running down the hallway when she got off the phone, big smile attached to her face as well... yeah we are happy.

    pt.

Good one guys, hope it all goes well for you. Damn that was fast!.
They must have made a quick decision, we were going to have to wait till the end of this week to find out if the job was ours.

1250 Al.. our day starts at 6:45am, may not get a lot of ride time in (nothing new there) but we do get 25 hrs per week relief from reception plus enough time off per month to perhaps get away for a night or two at our favourite northland beach, which (weather permitting) will be on the bikes.

Maybe someone else can organise them and fit them around your allowed time off?

Wow! What a day! I cant seem to wipe the grin off my face

I am flabbergasted to be honest, and just a wee little bit nervous at the same time. Luckily Mark and I actually like one another. The managers accommodation is 3 bedrooms, and there is a place to park our bikes which I am very happy about. It might not quite be the moonlight walks on the beach lifestyle we were looking at to begin with, but it is one hell of a way to learn the business.

They used to bring sand down from Tomorata and pakiri for takapuna and mission bay beaches, I thought.

It's a bloody good location with a "close to the beach" but not quite living on the edge of the northland beach, approach to it. Sadly it has Takapuna yuppy-dom attached to it...

A lot of transient business-types presumably?

Hope it all goes well, AND being close to Cycletreads there will be added attraction o you and also some clients!

It has been described to us as a corporate motel, so I anticipate suits and high heels, and the odd hooker

The beach is very close, so that is good, I was really surprised how quiet it actually was given the volume of traffic about the place.

The owner said the hits on his website were way up yesterday, a large number of hits from the domain kiwibiker

Good shit. I booked to do my Bar Managers course today, I have to obtain a General Managers License as it has an on license for the mini-bars. The place even has an elevator. I will let Mark service the bars in that tower, being kind to his knees you see
