Bacon and Eggs...a days work for the chook - a lifetime achievement for the pig
when I was 18, I was embarrassed at how ignorant my father was...then when I was 21, I was amazed at how much my father had learnt in those 4 years
Cheapest way is to fly down and get it
Saw a post couple of weeks back with an estimate of ~ $400. But that is something of a guess.

i had my fxr transported from nelson to auckland a few weeks back. i heard biketranz were a good company but i could never get hold of them. i ended up going with mana transport who took something like 8 days and cost me $230

Bay City Motorcycles (Tauranga) now also run a bike transport company.
Give Andy a ring and he will point you in the right direction :spudflip:
if not, I will go down myself...then maybe I can offer to take down or also bring back something for someone else![]()

Ill take it up to picton for you if you want. Where is it?
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

maybe it seems a lot, but I don’t think so...I am flying down to Dunedin in a couple of weeks, and the ticket is $279 each way. If you take the price of the flight, then the ferry and fuel…there isn’t a lot in it, the Transport Co has a lot of costs + it’s their livingOriginally Posted by Badcat
