That mk2 Golf is still a nice car though. I just wonder how long it's all going to last if driven hard regularly.
Fair point... I've often dribbled over a wee mod for the Prila

... I even like the colour

I know it's 4wd but I didn't think you could pump that much HP through FWD CV joints? I'm guessing the wheels want to be pointing straight ahead before you hit the go pedal.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

Mate...1150HP...if you think it's running standard internals you're a nutter. Bloody quick car though.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

As before...don't be assuming that any of that driveline is standard...

On a similar note of quick cars...I ran up against an R35 GTR a week back that my 2011 CBR1000rr couldn't keep up with in a straight line. Thing was fucken nuts...throwing 2 foot flames on the up and down shifts...spoke to the driver, was tuning it for a client and putting out somewhere around 900hp.

Yeah - I can understand that. There was a guy in Mrka making absolutely beautifully designed supercharger kits for the VFR800, and I was sorely tempted to buy one last year when I inherited some money. Sadly, he'd sold all his bits and business because he didn't have enough demand; everyone raved about them, but there were too few sales.
The whole thing looked stock with the plastics on, but underneath was a Rotrex supercharger, larger fuel and oil pumps, bigger injectors, CF airbox, PC with new maps, etc etc. Added up to 80hp to the VFR, making wheelies in every gear a twist of the wrist away, yet the bike rode just like stock if you weren't in a hurry.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

The Prila was done by a guy in Sweden. Think he sold the mill as it wasn't race legal, go figure... but he then moved on to do similar with a 1098. I'm told he orbits the planet every 36 minutes.
