    Broken...fill me in!!!!

    Hey all,
A fantastic blue dome day here in the Waikato!!!!
I'm still broken so can't get out on the bike...the gorgeous girl in my life has phoned to say she's off for a quick blast on her SV!! Thanks darling..aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgghh!!!
Anyone else been/going out today and want to share the ride with me??? I don't care if it's moaning about freaks in cages, expressions of exhilaration for the best ride ever or otherwise...Fill me in so I can share the moments, and interrupt the monotony while my shoulder fixes itself...Thanks in advanced...BORED BORED BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey DemonWolf, depending on what the ride is, I don't often make it to 200km per tank, more like 180km - I've got flowed heads and a few other wee mods which makes it a bit thirsty, but well worth the extra litres!!! (I've replied to your first question in another thread...long story short, crashed 9dumb cage), broke some bits, just had plates and screws for one break - collar bone - that didn't heal). You just curious about your consumption?

yeah curious.. think I just get over 200km outta a tank. But haven't fully tested it out yet... (need to take a couple litres in a bottle and run her dry and see what I get.)

Neva ridden a VTwin before, so just curious bout the sounds the engine should be making.. hmmmm

It's Friday, which means it's also No Restrictor Day which meant I got to work all wound-up from the raucous, small-block V8 / Ferrari howl the VifFerraRi was making, and I was going to skip today and go for a ride, but no KBers were out and about, so I just made do with going home at lunchtime instead. Because of the aforementioned raucous din, I had to pootle past the cop I saw (giving some dumbarse a ticket) in fourth gear instead of second, so she didn't notice me.

Sorry - not much else that was interesting to report - a few minor unintentional wheelies, occasional unintentional speed limit breaking, that sort of thing.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Hi CPB

I share your frustration sitting at the desk looking out a window at the Kinleith Mill a bit further south in the Waikato. Double frustration actually as I've got to take a car and trailer to Coromandel and the bike stays in the shed all weekend

    Bugger.
