I bought a bike a couple of weeks ago. Suzuki VL250 2011. I've been taking it out everyday for practice, (having to learn a totally different bike !) I went away for two days. Got the bike out today for a ride, key on/ignition light on/firing ok, but not starting, so I thought I'd give it some choke.. BUT.. it wont start. So I turn everything off, and head back inside.. whilst removing my helmet/jacket/gloves etc. I noticed fuel flowing onto the footpath. I went round to the front right hand side just underneath the fuel tank and saw a hose rapidly spilling fuel. I've turned the end of the hose up to stop the fuel flowing out. BUT dont know where the hose comes from or goes to, should it need to be reattached somewhere. I am assured that no one has been near the bike. Am I doing something wrong? Has a hose clip come off. Did I use the choke and cause flooding? The tank is half full. I am pretty new at all this. So any help would be appreciated. I am 40 minutes away from the Suzuki dealer if I have to take it in. thanks in advance![]()
