I made plenty of mistakes on my 250's.......a fuckload to be honest, so when I bought my first big bike, I went in cautious, I didn't repeat those mistake. You have to respect all bikes, but superbikes can be unforgiving, they'll flick you off or put you into a hedge before you know it and what few recognize is you don't have to be going fast for them to burn you, so image making a mistake at that speed.

Sounds like a buzzkill, but since upgrading, I haven't crashed, haven't wrecked etc. I've had close calls, but the defensive riding is what kept them close calls. Now, no one can change the way you ride but imagine belting down that road, you've done it 1000 times before and on the 1001 time some kids wanders across, who'd been chilling out or playing...I don't know, you get the fucking idea. It ain't worth it.

You got a beaut bike, check it's limits on the track, try beat your lap time. The only thing you'll beat on the road when doing those speeds is the grim reaper...well till next time.

No such things as an intermediate rider, just responsible and irresponsible riders. Those that think they will one day attain 34th level grandmaster of operating a fucking two wheeled machine quickly on public roads are irresponsible...in my opinions. . You're always learning, shit there isn't a time I don't go out on my busa that I don't learn something.

I stole a bike from a parking lot...Then I took it to a chop shop to get it all custom fitted with carbon fiber fairings. I got the engine done up and flash new rims. Got some real bright looking lights. Easily spent 30k+ on it. Then I took it speeding down the road unsure of speed. Next thing I get T-boned and fly off the bike basically dieing. However I emerge from the hospital and I've now lost my bike I stole and put 30k into.

Wait this is GTA 5 stories right?

I got this up to 105kph going to the brass and passed a couple of harleys. It was on the road along lake Dunstin and just above 0 deg C The Harleys were wearing harley riding gear not really good enough for the cold.

Plus high speed thin ring pistons, a port job, thin copper head gasket and a conbustion chamber re-shape job.
    Just another leather clad Tinkerbell.

Max indicated at 185 km/h on the BMW R1200RT-P.

I know it's true, as it was attached to a set of rollers with speedo calibration gear connected.

Oh, did I mention, it was while we were doing speedo calibration.

My personal RT maxes at whatever I want it to. I just don't want it to go that fast, so it doesn't.

Any knob can ride fast in a straight line. It's slow speed skills that sort the men out from the boys.
