If you are ever down this way I'll lend you my TS125 and you can go out in the bottom paddock and practice all you want.

Oh wait what happen? Nothin to say- Come on its only a fecking bike!
Lets face it, you're scared enough of your wee bike let alone another 40+hp on my wife's bike let alone mine.
In all honesty I wouldn't really care as they have insurance and we bought them to ride, not pose.

Yep I'll second that, having a behemoth kawa Y2K Vulcan that tips the scales at 600kg plus when two up with all luggage too.

Ya learn real quick as to how to manage and manipulate that much heft at low speed around town, parking, heavy stop/start traffic, u turns etc. Can make ya wince at times if it's about to turn to poos, lol.

That's just become the OPs new daily target. Can we all chip in for a bottle of KY for him?

Imagine the way you roll the throttle on as you leave a set of lights. Got it? Right. Now hook second gear (not after a hard launch by the way), and as you are rolling the throttle again and ya get to about a quarter of the way round, dip the clutch for the briefest of moments. Just enough to spike the revs about 1000-1500 rpm. Carry on rolling the throttle as if you are riding away from the lights.

BOOM. The front wheel is coming up as nice and smooth as you've ever seen in a video.

But wait, there's more. As the wheel is coming up you're gonna want to get it high and throttle off. THIS IS A MISTAKE!!! What you actually want to do is gradually ease back on the power while it's still coming up.

It'll take a while, and you'll get well fucked off with your retarded self no end, but you will learn to time it all right instinctively with practice.

I have just described THE SAFEST way to do wheel stands. It has all been said before of course, but you lot seem to all be too lazy to use the search function. Power wheelies are in fact the LEAST SAFE way to wheelie. The bike is getting fucken fast, really fucken suddenly. Anything or anyone in the way is dead meat if you do it that way, and when it goes over (and it can do it with seemingly no warning) it hurts MUCH MUCH more.

I usually encourage people to get the hang of it in second gear first, but the bike will be doing 100kph when things level off if you're on something half modern. So if it suits and you know your bike quite well, do it just the same in first gear.

Remember. The slower you're going, the less it's gonna hurt.

    As you were.
LMFAO... awesome, but dont listen to that fat poof, he needs 3 wheels to stay up right... just take of normally then shut the tap off, crack the c*$t of a thing back open and torque whellie, (cos it only has 83HP so ya cant call it a power whellie and the rebound from the forks, shit gota be worth a couple a HP)

Of course we all know this vid is a staged photo shop job as shafties can not and will not whellie...

Cheers Drew. I can resist everything c'ept temptation.

    Who said slow speed skills?

What floats my boat, not drag racing.

For the ordinary rider fast (or slow) is referenced in MPH (or KPH if you struggle under the Napoleonic measurement system) so much so that the ordinary rider even gets a Speed-O-Meter that tells them exactly how fast their sooper-dooper GSZXARKSP 1000 is going at any given time. This blinds the ordinary rider into thinking that because MPH is the only thing that is measured and displayed, MPH is the only thing that matters.

Degrees per second. How fast can you corner? The only bit that matters..

DPS is the measurement we use for two of the bikes important parameters, its Roll Rate and its Rate of Heading Change i.e. how fast we can lean it and how fast we can turn it and it is in high values of DPS that give the Moto Gymkhana rider their stunning speed.

The dude with no hands is hitting 120 DPS, your average rider, not that involved, is maybe 40 DPS, the guns are hitting 160 DPS. Crotch rocket drag stars are big fat zeros.
