Anyone interested in my CBR600F2.
Not great condition, but legal and still goes hard.
Don't let the high kms fool you, these are well made machines and this is still a reliable bike.
The aftermarket seat (Corbin) has been a great investment in comfort and also improves the posture slightly. (the original seat comes too, but has some splits)
I rode it to Hastings for Christmas, and it was a comfortable and pleasant ride.
The engine still goes well, and I expect it to be reliable for many years to come.
The regulator/ rectifier (about their only known weakness) has been recently replaced.

Downside:
The fairing has been painted black (originally red) by an amateur, and the single coat is wearing off in places (red accents anyone?), the black looks good but it really needs to be redone (or just ride if you don't care).
There are several places where there is damage to the fairing (I have tried to show all in the pics), the worst is the left front indicator surround which is so damaged that it doesn't hold the indicator in anymore, To fix this the indicator is now attached to a bracket. I've had a quote of $150 for a second hand fairing panel to replace this
The right indicator surround is also damaged, but I have used Araldite to mend the crack so painting would make it look much nicer.
Best to come and look if you're worried about the cosmetics.
The chain is at max adjustment (but the sprockets are ok).
Also I expect to need a new rear tire for the next WOF.
I'm wanting to get back into adventure riding so will consider trades for 400-650cc dual purpose bikes (must be road registered). eg XT or KLR
Any other swaps, ask if you like, you never know.
