Hi ya'll. Scored myself an excellent RD50 rolling chassis. A bike I had wanted for years. It's corroded and missing an engine, but it's a good skeleton to start with. I'm open to getting a variety of motors. Something eligible for bucket racing would give the project more purpose than a fun resto/mod bike, but an old MX engine would be exciting. It depends on what's available and at what price. Would like to have all the peripherals to get it going too. The only absolutes are it can't be too big and it has to be 2 stroke!
I'm also interested in anything you think might suit. I'm very interested in MXer alloy swingarms of suitable size. Also suspension, uprated brakes, 18" skinny wheels in good condition. Anything of interest basically.
It's only a fun side project, I need to save the big money for the big machines, but I'm not earning big money so need to keep myself busy on something else. So cheap or free is what I'm after. Cheers!
