Slightly off topic but kind of related to your post (so assume this will go under the radar of the you-are-off-topic-KB-police), I always thought bikes (and cars) were female in nature.
Am I, at the risk of breaking the NZ male reputation of being rubbish at the finer points of sensitivity, getting some insight that while male rides seem to female in nature, that females rides are male in nature ? As in bike rides, in case this goes off on an unintended tangent.
PS nice bike
I've had bikes and cars that seem to be either, so I don't think all girl's bikes are boys
Norman is most definitely a dude tho ; )

I've wondered about this before. All my bikes and my cars have always been male, but I've heard other women refer to their bikes using female pronouns.
Anyway, great taste in bikes bittertwistedcute

I was trying to convince myself that the new bike might be a girl, but its not looking that way - more of a metro ; )
