    Weird things your pets do

Our cat seems to always know when I need to go to the loo. I barely get seated and the grey girl shoulders her way in through the door and rolls over at my feet, squawking. I did take a picture while in the little room (of her, not me on the bog) but haven't uploaded it yet.

Does anyone else have crazy pets with a penchant for strange behaviour?

My Jack Russell likes to lick my arse during the vinegar stroke if that counts?

(I am amazed he can bend his neck that far but that's another story)

My american staffy licks his winky and wont even stop if he rolls backwards...
Not uncommon to see him rolling around the floor in a licking frenzied ball of destruction, bowling chairs, knocking shit over and the like.

Fuckin lucky bastard....I'd never leave the house!

That happened to me many years ago whilst getting down to it on a tartan travel rug in the sand dunes next to a golf course in Cornwall, initially I congratulated my girlfriend on her dexterity but when I saw where her hands were realised something was not quite right.. A worried look over my shoulder revealed an Alsatian with a rimming fetish & his lipstick out ready for action.

Our cat likes to nestle into my under cracks when I'm pinching a loaf, the dog likes to eat her biscuits while we are both engaged, thinks I don't know this....
One of the dogs most entertaining habits is to run down the beach carrying huge branches, like 8ft long or more & say hello to strollers from behind. She's responsible for many a sandy arse & no doubt a few long jump records broken if somebody was measuring.

We have just had around 3/4 of an hour thunder n lightning, most dogs dont seem to like it but this clown spent the whole time running around barking at the heavens, best part was when he heard it in typical Sam fashion it was off outside at a 100 mph but he couldnt get any traction on the tiles of the kitchen floor so did a few burnouts instead.....interesting to watch.

    The Mutts Nuts

Instead of passing gas like normal my dog inflates his testicles.

Why do dogs lick their balls?

Because they can't make a fist.

Note to one's self: Do not eat breakfast while checking out KB in the morning! Wild imaginations abound here!

Well my cat just ate another lizard about 30 minutes ago. Not that unusual I guess. What is unusual tho is that he will jump up onto the breakfast bar thing overlooking the bench while we prepare a meal but has never ever tried to get any food from the bench, no matter how tempting. Content just to sniff from afar and watch. We've even accidentally left meat on the bench and the cat inside and come back hours later to find the meat untouched. He has very good manners.

He does appear to have inherited my 'catch and release' fishing ethic and applied it to birds. Catches them outside, brings them inside, releases them. Thanks Sheldon!

One thing about our mutt which caused concern when we left her with the neighbour for a Paeroa weekend was that she only eats on command. Left on the Friday, home on Monday. The dog had her first meal on Monday morning when the neighbour accidentally gave the command. Otherwise spent the whole weekend staring at the food bowl. Poor little puppy, the things you don't think about, eh?

Out male cat sits, and offers his front right paw in exchange for getting his head rubbed. He also "fetches" a christmas bauble when chucked for him. Brings it back and drops it. He's called Dave, and he's fuckin awesome!

On Christmas day we were rushing around and hadn't fed the chooks. The chooks came into the kitchen as we had left the back door open, the oven was on and they were next to it. I offered them some dried stuffing mix and they loved it but my wife stopped me trying to get them to hop into the oven.
