and how did you do it? 30 seconds spray and walk away? says it's okey dokey, but read the faq and it says, no wastewater contamination, dont touch trees, and it will kill your children and rape your granny.

You'll need ladders to get onto the roof, so this little wagon could carry them if you left the tailgate up .

The absolute best, time tested advice i can give is....get some other bastard to do it.

...like Grumph said...but if you have to do it...waterblast from the ridge down...divert the downpipe flow away from the drains if you dont want the flakey shit to block them...tell granny and the kids to fuck off...

On a realistic note - Waterblast, 1 hour later spray then walk away........then the next week a good dose of rust converter.

Don't worry it its bad for the environment - you know what 40 tons of urea a day does to plant life? The human stuff is not exactly "green".

It's called elbow grease, a corrogated wire brush on a broom handle and a shit load of sunscreen and cold Wakatoo! Hell the old man must have put 6 Doz of the proper sized ones ( you know QUARTS) on his roof when he got me and my mates up there with the brushes and the sand paper for the tough bits.
But hey only took 2 days, the clean it off, then a couple of months of priming and sanding and then painting between rain showers.
Go hard Akz, ewe can do it.

Waterblaster.
Then wire brush the dodgy bits, replace mangy lead-head nails by whacking a screw with the fancy rubbery-bits in.
Rust kill and spot prime, then paint.
Leave the guttering connected so it all goes to the treatment plant and also annoys the lunatic fringe greenie weirdo's.

Red roofs go faster!
