    Kawasaki Ninja 250r exhaust system?

    hi there,

i recently purchased a '09 ninja 250r and came with the loudest system ever, it was over 120db and was told by my WOF place that no now will pass it.

So.... i bought a 2nd hand system off a wreckers in auckland.

my question is, if i plan to do this myself, is there anything i need to put between the headers and the engine before i bolt it together? like a gasket or something?

Your help will be much appreciated

    Cheers

    Tim

well, i took it to nori's (i think thats the name), the local kawasaki dealers. also they said because the number plate surround has been cut, that will fail too

guess i could try taking it to another place..... but i do want it quieter anyways, even with the helmet on its way too loud....
