    Parts REQ for 91 GSX600F.

I require a couple of parts as my gsx600 just failed the vinning process. Firstly it needs a front screen. Anyone managed to salvage one of these. Maybe you swapped one out for an aftermarket one?

Secondly I need a rear disc. Mine failed horribly with a tollerance of 5.5mm it measured a staggering 3.5???? I actually thought it looked a bit worn but didn't realise it was that bad.

Both parts do not have to be new but they do need to be passable for the vinning process.

PM me or phone 027 3250353 or email cowboyz@ihug.co.nz

Many thanx to any who can help me out here.

rear disk is gonna be a nightmare dude.
Pull it off and go see Henry at Takinini wreckers. I have a funny feeling the disk might be the same as on the gsxr250 and the gsx750f
I think aftermarket disks arent too badly priced.
As for the blade --if its gone opaque you could just pull it off the bike and paint the underside black. As long as its totally black they have to pass ya
Dont ask its a stupid ruule

    cheers

The rear disc. I got one lined up for $245. It new including pads so I thought that not so bad. The screen was good until I put the bike on the trailer and I was in a hurry and didn't put the sidestand down properly on the bike and the bike fell over and smashed the screen in pieces on the side of the trailer. I am surprised you didnt hear the words that come out of my mouth from there. I will give those guys a ring in the morning and see if they can do better than $245. Would be good as this projects costs are mounting.
