The market seems quite different here. Even though its now 2014, if I wanted to buy a 2005 Suzuki Bandit, even with something like 40k on the clock it seems like I'd have to spend way way way more than $6000 which seem ridiculous because that bike would be worth no more than GBP1000 in the UK. So am I looking in the wrong places (
www.motorcycletrader.co.nz &
www.kiwibiker.co.nz) or do I just need to accept it's a lot more expensive to be a biker in NZ?
So far I've just been looking at private adds because dealerships are so ridiculously and unattainably expensive in the Queenstown area so if anyone has any advise I'd really appreciate it as I have family visiting soon who I promised I'd tour the South Island with.
