Oh, and a bit much smoke for an electrical fault, but that may not stop the PR people. That eight engine limit might be a bit tight some teams used over twenty five engines last year.

Good interview with Philip Marron, Eugene Laverty's crew chief, talking about Eugene, Suzuki and how things are going. He was reasuring about the engine failure that Eugene had stateing:
So they must have figured out what caused that electrical fault and fixed it...........In the second race we had an engine failure, we've analysed it with Yoshimura and it's not a problem we're going to have in the future.

My mate Simone is starting the Superstock 1000 season with Pedercini this year.
I don't know what his 1000cc experience is. He was 2005 CIV 125GP champion, has raced MotoGP125, Moto3, MotoGP250, European 600 and I guess some Superbike in Italy. This is a bit of a comeback for him.
Hope he goes well.
