Perhaps he swings by the nunnery,, and picks up a few chicks,, or mayebe he puts on a bit of a disguise. and checks out down town
hope he takes off that silly hat, and sticks on a decent helmet

It probably came down to having to wear arse-less trousers and the catlick church gets into enough trouble without the pope cruising around town, with his wedding tackle out.
