    Yes - ha ha - AFL - you know it's an acronym for the awstrayliyan football league.
    If you can get past the kiwi perception of 'shorts' you'll find it's an simplistically attractive game of 'kick the shit out of a football' on a really, really big paddock played by athletes with some of the best physiques in the sporting world.

    The code also features the best and worst commentators in sport. After 5 years in unzud some of them sound absolutely diabolical - WA's Dennis Commetti I rate as the best behind a microphone I've heard - any sport.

    And atchally - it was invented by the Irish - it is basically Gaelic football played with an egg and different goal posts.

    There is an Aus V Ireland series of composite rules every few years.
