Currently they have my bike in the workshop. They better be fully qualified mechs not monkeys with spanners.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

yes it did Shaun, as i thought i better think about what i said, the last post was done in haste,

Shaun, you ask for the riders name to be kept off this site, yet you are going after a business that was asked to do a job for MNZ, trying to shoot the messenger is what it looks like to me,

as for the answer, Yes there are qualified mechanics at Norjo's, and i would have no problem taking my own bikes in there, they are one of the longest serving Kawasaki dealers in the country,

for those that dont know me, that might come to this thread, ill sign my name,

    Scott Wilkins,
and i work for Kawasaki NZ,

Thanks for your reply Scott, No mate not trying to shoot the messenger, just confirming that the messenger can actually drive. I have edited orriginal post with the FACT that they do have TRADESMAN mechanics there.

Chip has only had the reigns less than 10yrs. But in 38 or so years of being under the Kawasaki banner, have shrunk from two owners & two shops, and had 5 location changes. They started as a Suzuki dealership too BTW

Be very carefull in any dealings you have with them, pay very close attention to anything they do for you, much more than any other (bar one) motorcycle dealer/workshop in Christchurch city.

Anything I should know about? Currently they've had my bike for about two months (insurance repair).

I'll give them a call on Monday to see how they are doing.

Thoroughly photograph your way around the bike, make accurate notes of abosutely everything in relation to your requirements, who you talk to, what they say, what you say, ask for the return to you of all parts replaced, and compare with fitted items. Have someone you trust go over everything to check things like alignments, settings, all nuts/bolts/fasteners present, torque check everything.

Making notes and diarising everything makes it easier to seek legal remedy later should it become necessary.

Note: this is not some offhand slagging, simple advice applicable in any dealing. Interpret that how you will...........
