    MotoGp **SPOILER**

Poor old Gibbers.... I almost feel sorry for him.

    NOT!!

Another great race from Rossi, and a good result for Ducati and Maxamillian.

Word is that Rossi will race for Yamaha and Nastro Azzuro next season before moving on to Ferrari, and that John Hopkins is about to sign another 2 year deal with Suzuki. Silly lad.

If Rossi beats Biaggi in the next round at Motegi, the home of Honda, he will be crowned World Champion with 5 rounds still to go.

If Gibernau did run out of gas, someone in the crew is due a severe reaming.
Although it was more likely an act of God, seeing how Vale has a direct line to him.

So glad that Rossi got past before 'that other guy' ran out of gas.

    Or did he?

Maybe he knew Val was too good for him, and would continue to pull away from him in the last lap, making Seta look "ordinary".

See Rossi show you up Big time in the last lap,,
or fake a 'out of fuel' incident, and get to blame someone else.

With not many points in the series, if I fake a 'out'!

Rossi must love him. Keeps his race interesting to see what type of mistake Seta will make this time!

Couldn't believe it when Sete ran out of fuel, almost felt sorry for him. He's a brilliant racer and the series would be worse off without him. But his continual run of bad luck, as WT said, must be making him wonder about his future in some way. Rossi is the man, and to see him win at Motegi would be incredible.

Did you notice Giberanau cross himself just after the warm up lap?

Crash.net states it was a fuel pump problem that according to Gibernau (AKA The Mullet) started to show itself in the opening laps. He seemed to be going alright though. Must be gutting to always get well and truly whipped by Rossi at every race.
We are watching history at the moment though, Rossi is arguably the greatest motorcycle racer of all time.
Can't wait to see the colours of his Yammy next year, bound to be special looking.

    Yeh, what you said WT.

I've only followed Motogp this year. Why is Gibo such a cunt according to a lot of KB's posting here?

Without him, Rossi would be pissing on everyone by lots of seconds every race unchallenged. Then he would turn into a Shumacher "I win everytime like it or not" and people would say motogp is getting boring...

These head to head battles kick ass, even if Gibo can't quite get past the world's greatest rider.

    [Edit again for clarification]
Seta's a good challenger, and it brings a laugh to the series that Rossi seems to get one over him every time.

It all started at Qutar (sp) last season. Seta's team protested the Rossi team for scooter skids at the start grid. Rossi started at the back and still won, (if I remember correctly), [Edit: almost won. had he not fallin off ] and then said "Gibernau would not win another race."

Then the last corner incident at the first round this year.

and Rossi has sh*t over Gibernau ever since.

Makes for a great story within the fine racing.

Everyone likes to dislike someone in racing
The press make a lot more out of rivalries than the actual people involved. Rossi and Biaggi's rivalry was mostly press based. Until Rossi smacked him in the mouth
Rossi has the ability to keep the racing exciting for the fans, instead of dissappearing like Schumacher would. I think being Italian helps
