    .
he started at the back and carved through the field but lost it when his rear went out on to the astro turf and he dropped it didnt he?

Yep thats right. The race ended with gibernau 1st and edwards 2nd. Afterwards rossi swore that gibby would never win another gp race whilst he was there. Been pretty right so far, haha.

Couldn't stop laughing when I saw him slowing down, he is cursed I tell ya. In regards to everyone saying that motogp would be f1 without gibby, what races have you been watching?? Rossi came 3rd at leguna, was in a very tight battle with roberts and edwards at donnington, was pushed hard by max at mugello, lost to barros at estoril etc. Gibby has only featured in 3 or 4 of this years races, was off the pace or crashed at the others. Would be just as interesting without him, would just not be as funny to watch.

yeah and rossi has won 9 out of 11 races so far this year
he hasn't dropped it once in a race in 2005.
I think he only dropped it in Qatar last year and in practice at another venue.
Unlike Carlos Checa who currently holds the record for most bins in a year

Rossi had never ridden a lap of Haydens home track up to a few days before the motogp race. Makes him a bit more than head and shoulders above the rest.
And for Donington he did the same fuck up in the wet as Gibo. He kept it up, Gibo did not.
Just bloody fantastic racing I say

Hell yeah! It would have been a disappointment if Rossi only got past him after his bike died.
It really does seem Gibernau is cursed or something.

as everyone has said Rossi is the man, dropping his times from 1:58's to 2:00, then sticking to gibenau, only to pass him on the last lap (looks like he likes to add a bit of excitiment to his race)

Capirossi did awesome carving his way up the feild...

Dissappointed with Nicky Hayden dropping off the pace...

Biaggi on the final laps made some quick moves and flew up into (eventually 3rd)

    NOT!!

Another great race from Rossi, and a good result for Ducati and Maxamillian.

Word is that Rossi will race for Yamaha and Nastro Azzuro next season before moving on to Ferrari, and that John Hopkins is about to sign another 2 year deal with Suzuki. Silly lad.

If Rossi beats Biaggi in the next round at Motegi, the home of Honda, he will be crowned World Champion with 5 rounds still to go.
Hopkins is going to wrap up the title next year on that suzook yer know.

Okay, so continuing with the rumours.

If Rossi switches to F1 and Ferrari in 2007 will you:

    1. Still watch the MotoGP?
    2. Start watching the F1?

given that both seem to be on pretty much at the same time?

    Decisions, decisions...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

F1 is boring regardless of who is in it. I love motorsport and on face value F1 is the ultimate, but in reality it's just fucking boring. If Rossi goes there good luck to him, I may watch a few races just to see how he gets on, but I'll still be tuning into MotoGP.

I dont think rossi will move to F1 he knows that there is no competition in F1 and basically no skill 80% is car 20% is driver.

I hope suzuki comes up with a good bike next year so that hopkins can get in the action maybe give rossi a challenge.
