BUT--it WAS a fairly new commuter tyre that was being replaced anyways.
Yep I remember that night well --good times.
I remember thinking, that's not tyre smoke smell, and then the poor wee bike came to a screaming standstill, lots of noise, big smell and NO traction Great night!

There are no rules when it comes to burnouts.
Thats the whole point of doing a burnout...fuck the rules!

Try telling that to my mate from the UK who was over here for a couple of years. Bought himself a DRZ 400 and got talked into doing a burnout in the workshop at the yard when they were drinking one friday night. Bye bye clutch.

Oh ferfuckssake just get on with it.

The whole thing reeks of fail before it's begun, and I for one can't wait to bear witness to it.

Agreed. Only replacing it because I have to, legally, otherwise I'd have waited a little longer.

Your tyre is now worn out so fairly close to needing replacing. You do a big ol burnout and rip the tyre down to canvas.
How are you planning on getting the bike from where you do the burnout to home and then to the tyre shop?
Thats why I'd say if you have to do it --do it at the tyre shop
My friend is changing the tyre for me, if it all went south, he'd pick me up.
