Repainting one fairing piece?

Hi guys and gals,

Just curious as to whether anyone has some kind of info or experiences related to getting fairings repainted. I hit an unmarked spill of diesel (lovely logging trucks... ) in the Whangamoa's, heading towards Blenheim and it has turned the left side of my SRAD from pristine to looking a bit tatty. I've managed to sort out most of it, but the fairing has been the last bit. Purely as it is cosmetic.

I'm now slowly getting it back to the mint condition it was in, and was wondering what a general estimate might be for just the one fairing piece sorted and painted. I'm in the Nelson/Marlborough area, so if anyone has any contacts to go have a chat with, that would be much appreciated too

Damn!

Cant recommend anyone in the area, but you have really two options, 1) scour ebay for a panel in great condition 2) repaint.

Ive had the latter done - I ordered some decals off ebay, and took them to the painter, and had them applied before the clear coat went on over the top.
You just need to give your painter the paint code for your bike - that should be somewhere on your bike - if you cant find it, someone who knows their suzukis will be able to tell you what it is

hi guys how do I find paint code for a kawasaki Ninja Zx2r 1993. My spray painter could not come up with a paint code yet. He says he could not pull anything out with the VIN number.

It looks orange with pearl tones it any clue what it could be or where on the bike I can find the paint code ?

I've only seen this colour on later models, but could be the same as yours? Pic of the colour attached.
