$20k for an 11 year old bike... I don't know man.

That 240 rear wheel...good luck turning that fucker around the corner.

Also, have fun riding in that position with your arms stretched out like a bloody monkey for more than 60 minutes.

Someone tell me why these things are worth that much?
It just looks ugly, apart from being a trinket rather than a motorbike. You could pass a child through the gap between the engine and the headstock.

Maybe he can't. The wheels might be seized.

Probably is - I wasn't replying in that specific context - more a general observation ..

Just a tad too much information.

I rode a Diavel for month in Canada which has a 240 rear. Wasnt too bad to be honest but def hard in low speed stuff. But thats an entirely different bike of course.

If it is a 'show winner' strikes me as a reasonable price.

I remember them coming out (carb tuning issues aside) there was a lot of publicity about the model. Collectible? Must be getting rare now for a good one?

Only collectible cos so many of the few sold here became parts donors. Not popular new, took I think, 3 iterations before they got the handling right.
Only really desirable to complete a collection IMO.
