Aww but he says it would be well worth the effort to restore it. That was the same model as Agostini used to race wasnt it? It wasnt?

Definitely not immaculate, with the leaking fork seals and non original rear indicators, but if it was $1k instead of $2k I'd possibly be sick enough to buy it.

I did say sick enough, and it wouldn't be for the excitement factor...

1977 so 40yrs old so cheap rego, in reasonable nick and seemingly all there, for $1k if it had a WOF and was good to go would make a reasonable commuter to save hacking the big bike or excessively engined car to work. Would also be good for the young fella to start out on, and if it got binned nobody is going to care.

    Z200

My brother purchased a new one back in the day may have been a 250 as it was early 80's. Pretty sure it was about $2500 1982 or something dollars.

Reckon if it had a WOF and he started it at 1500 no reserve he would darn near get the 2k

There was one that sat in a shed a couple of properties down here and no one wanted it....and apart from being dusty & dirty it was a minter by comparison...think it actually ended up being tossed at the Rakaia dump.
A mate had 2 of them as a teenager (though that was forced upon him) but he covered some kms on those bikes regularly doing chch - geraldine & chch -tekapo trips a real wee work horse...the proverbial pit-pony

A small smooth one so it doesn't hurt too much.

Hahahaha...I can't really comment on that, as I've barely ridden my RM400 since I built it. But it'd have to be a fucking well trick CR125 for that sort of coin. I sold said RM400 for that sort of money, and it had a lot of way more expensive shit on it than that.
