I'm gonna stick my neck out and say everything this guy has for sale is overpriced.

And the name sounds familiar to this old Kiwibiker too...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

If I recall though, described as very uncomfortable.

IIRC one of the BIKE mag journos accompanied Paul Smart himself to Mugello on a pair of PS replicas for some special Ducati event. Not my idea of a tourer. When they eventually reached the track there was a very large very serious security guard and they had no passes, their passes were inside the track. Worried about the language difficlty they started attempting to explain the situation, but the guard pointed to the bikes, "Is Ducati, is OK".

Fuck that. I paid $3200.00 for a low mileage GSX1000SZ out of California, that had some good period correct hot rod parts on it. And whilst not immaculate, it's a hundred times nicer than that that pile of poo.

A Ducati nut local to me bought one of the first here and came over to show me. Quite nice I thought. Next time I saw it, it had a signed tank. But he was not happy about that as when he took it to Pukekohe to get Paul Smart's signature there had been a line of them to be done....probably too many signed to add to the value.

If the cosmetics are salvageable that's about right. The engine castings and box will be usable too.

It would be two grand all day long if he spent the $100NZ to have a new tank and sidecovers dropped to his door.

They arrive in less than five days in all.

If I had 25large to throw away with little consequence I'd buy the $10,000 TDR, the $10,000 RS250 and, I dunno; blow and hookers is the traditional. Fuck what loser would buy that piece of crap? Nice.

I had a ride on my mates Sport Classic and the riding position was more extreme than the injected 900ss I had a few years back. Whilst I liked the power delivery I was happy to hand it back.
$25 to spend....I'd be straight down to the Triumph Shop.http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...1374027499.htm

I was wondering if that was our old mate. Sadly I hadn't ever thought to invoke the ignore function when he was here.
