Well you could hardly headline your trademe ad with that, with all the talk of slave sales on the dark web people would think you'd got confused with where you were advertising.

Unlikely it will see the road again.

Who has that sort of coin?

Wonder how much he would have paid had the bidding continued?

What might it have been worth 10 or 20 years ago?

25% deposit on a 3 bedroom bungalow in Onehunga in 1996.

40% deposit on a 2 bedroom unit in New Windsor in 1995.

60% deposit on a do up 3 bedroom in central Nelson in 1994.

I remember a guy at work in 1997 selling his 900 S2 for around the 6K mark so an SS would

    probably have been 10-15K.

These will probably start going up soon as part of the same family.

Nicer looking than the 860/900 GT GTS.

They were good as an SS replica donor, other than being non desmo, cams and carbs the engine is much the same

In 10 more years some clown might pay 100 grand for it ?
Doesn't really matter once you have a few quid,if you want it you buy it.

Once you reach old age you realise your health is No 1 in your thoughts.I never thought I'd get there, but hey, its happened !!!
Actually, maybe I should buy one, might fit my buggered knees better than what I have ?

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Either there's an optical illusion happening or somethings going on with that milkybar kid SD......that front end looks way out of line with the rear or even the center stand

In 93 you could get a fresh jap import MHR millie for under $9k and go sell it a couple of years later for $13.5k and it'd graced the pages of an Aussie mag.
That SS, shitload of coin for a pretty narrow focus bike & journey into masochism

Optical illusion me thinks...but the seat and colour.....

In 1986 you could pick up a second hand one for $2700.00 AU and as its not an SS still have it thru kids, white ware, mortgage etc

Agree with you last comments but oh the bragging rights...better than one of those old Stevenage things.
