Maybe we should start a "Realistic Sellers who appear to be honest" thread.

Who's going to buy it? I've ridden one - a friend had one in the 80's - his was red and quite a nice old bus.
I had one and it was nice to ride but man do they need attention!

Other than having a later speedo and missing the air cleaner boxes it looks like a good buy.

The engine and gearbox is a bit like " a box of chocolates".

They are a nice bike to ride, the V twin torque is great, lighter than a Moto Guzzi lemans.

I'm giving mine a birthday as its 40 in Jan and cheap $54 rego

The bevel engine is a work of art, I'm not sure if I'd be keen to tackle a rebuild, I stick to easy air cooled BMW engines.

How much for a stock, straight original unrestored OW01 then? Less OW01's built than RC30's.......

I may just put mine up!

I'd pay 40k for one if I had the coin and wanted one at the time.

Newbie here so it got me good for a second

Been on for awhile, I'd be pretty hesitant with 39,000 and not much info on the history. If it were a 916 sps with half the k's I'd be willing to do just about anything to get it!, recently saw a 1998 916 SPS for $20,000 and it lasted maybe a few days, probably the best example I've seen on trademe. Seems like everyone is hanging onto their 851/888/916's now
