I think y'all are being unkind that Honda Dream. That is THE Japanese motorcycle, nothing else comes close. (Don't choke on yer beer.) There have been more exotic and more powerful Japanese bikes, there have been other brands since, but that was the one that kicked off the Japanese industry internationally.

There can't be many of those around, time can't have been kind to all those steel pressings.

Well, you turned down over 20k for a CR500, so I'm beginning to wonder...

How's the rear brake setup on this thing? Why not use a clutch master cyl?

Honda is very cool as is the Corvair truck, can't say I have seen one in the metal.

Erm yeah, but you seem to be asking the restored price. Can't enter twinshock class by definition I would have thought.

Unless you're competing nationally does it matter? I think they let you pretend to ride whatever class you want locally don't they?

Be a not bad trail bike at about half that price.

5 & a 1\2 k for a wheezey 400! And they really are quite unspectacular, although Drew will say they are magnificent and has wet dreams about them.

They were a cynical attempt to cash in but are really low spec.

I sold my gasgas for considerably less, a world more competent and parts still available for the gg.

Well, . . it kinda had a sticker where the seat should have been, does that count?

So more a deformed scooter than a proper motorbike?

I'm too fucking old to be climbing trees up the Maungatuks on a modern, and when the knees give way I quite like some padding where the delicate bits land.

    BMW dealers with this https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/mot...1411825154.htm

    Should be $20K tops.

Side note - it's a old school heck of a reach to the clip-ons.
