Given Crosby wants $44k for this $14 for the mostly original one is probably good.

Yeah that's a nice old girl. Isn't it against TM rules to advertise a bike that doesn't even exist?

Never played with RS250, only 125s. My last just drove up the driveway a couple of hours back. Bit sad. Obviously been a while since I took the 125 motor out of it.

Want to pay more than the new price for a 2.5 year old bike? Here's your chance.

What sort of turkey buys a bike and puts through one tank of gas before returning it to the shop to sell losing squat loads in the process? I mean aforementioned SR 400s aside.

That would be closer to two tanks and as many as three trailer rides home!

And spend coin on the exhaust and sparkles (grips, levers ...)

All types of reasons I guess. Lost their job, won lotto and purchased a R1 or something, realized they were not cool enough for a Ducati

Fucks sake. A TM search shows that would be $9995 in a dealer, so less private.

Brand new high spec 2016 model for the same price ..... https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/mot...1395880623.htm

I've never met anyone that's ridden the current model, who could wrap their head around how fucking fast and grunty it is.
The early one was fun, but nothing overly special.

I saw this when it was first listed, remember thinking it was well priced at the 8-10k mark somewhere. My guess is it's sold and he's saving fees.

So how do you actually save fees? They take your money at the start, unless it's an auction.

Ahh it is. Hold on its down to 10k now. Which is strong money but not berko like it was.

He wanted $23k when I posted that link yesterday. $10k is a bit overpriced, but he might get lucky.

You can get one off a dealer with similar or less kms for the same - and probably haggle the dealer as well given they will want it off the floor.
