Thing is it was not a special or iconic CBX model like the first gen ones for example. Now find one of them with 86 miles on it .....

It is though IMO perhaps potentially the best real world version of the bike by Honda -set up as a big mile eater. I remember swooning over them in the show room.

the CBX came out a wee while after bike collecting became popular, hence there are a few around that people brought new just for that reason.
over time i've seen three brand new boneville silver jubilee specials in nz, same reason.

1978 sd900 rego on hold ,last wof 2016 .runs well , only has kick start, jumps out of first gear if you give it heaps but all good as soon as you in second .been told easy to fix but then you will end up doing other bits when motor open as you do . brakes need going over . as is where is[/url]

So jumps out of first, but he doesn't want to fix it because that will lead to needing to fix "other bits".. And the brakes are knackered.. Far out!

14K buy now?? Someone better tell him he's dreaming.
I used to have a '77 SD that was rough with no rego too but at least it was the original colour and stayed in first gear.
Sold it for about a third of what he's expecting.

They are a $5000 bike to me because a mate bought one for that coin back in the day. Red with white stripe and had a tiger head on the sidecover. Badass!
