Whilst I wouldn't give you nearly 9k for it, it's at least not too shabby looking. Decent pics too.

Agree. Even the model is not bad looking and with nice tits (not awful boltons). I really dislike those 1980's Yammy "swirly" wheels though - even on stuff like the XJ's and RD's. The best XV customs have new front ends and new rear wheels as well (hard with a shafty)...

I like the fact that they are just a great big engine with some bits hanging off it. Puts the MOTOR in motorcycle.

This was stupid money to start but is now a bit more reasonable - asking $9500 so $9k would buy it.

Yep and I let this go for 5.6K http://raresportbikesforsale.com/tag/gs1200ss/ (which in fairness is what I paid for it)

I hear what you're saying I sold my one for $4k with sub 30 thou on the clock, full yoshi system, tint screen, pack frame, radar detector plus all the original bits only months before Don from Pitlane reckoned it was the tidiest one he'd seen around ChCh.
Then the chump that brought it gave the poor damn thing a backyard cowboy paint job in red

Nice job and the work involved with the photo presentation means he's no fool.

It's an open market for bike's like this . If you like it, pay the money.

Literally that tank is the only cool thing about that bike. If you are going to that trouble why not fix the damn seat?
