The best I can find is this - which shows steel consumption exceeded production (meaning the US needs to import) until 2010 - when production increased. But it shows no consumption figures for 2010.

nafta is North American free trade area
Maybe Trump has mates that own US steal mills that would be "GREAT" for them
I think the US have the capascity about 20% or so to match consumption to production as its the world steel price drives us Steel production.

What Trump is attempting to do is create an artifically driven increase in Steel price within the US, That will allow the increase of US steel production.
I am sure that the trarifs will not effectively flow back to the users of the steel or that even if it does that it will balance the increase in raw materials cost that will effect the end users.
But if you own a steel mill in the USA, good times ahead..........
In the early days of the Reagan Administration, steel firms won substantial tax breaks in order to compete with imported goods. But instead of modernizing their mills, steel companies shifted capital out of steel and into more profitable areas
Two-thirds of the iron and steel produced in the US is made from recycled scrap, rather than from iron ore
Nucor is North America's largest recycler of any material and recycled 16.9 million tons of scrap in 2015. None of Nucor's facilities are unionized.

It's bloody nice. But - NO.

Shit any of the NZ importers will probably find you one.

Aussie had the 400/4 available a decade or so back.

That's the later shape model. Doesn't add up that the number badge only be in the 400's.

This guy is the dreamer of all dreamers. I sold a '94 model of this bike in race trim a bit over a year ago for 3k and I bought it off the previous owner for 3K

So at what point does a sub 5K bike suddenly become a 13K bike??

I dunno, but I'll have some of what he's on thanks.

Talentless skiffle band only slightly better than their latter individual efforts. Mind you Ringo Starr's work on Thomas the Tank engine was the stand out.
I was in the supermarket late one night when they played Silly love songs by Paulmcfartknee. I was cursing that Chapman chap "YOU SHOT THE WRONG ONE!!!"
Or maybe that he just stopped where he did.
I couldn't escape and was looking around desperately for some way to injure myself to make the pain stop.
fortunately there was a clean up in isle 6 or somesuch and I managed to abandon the vicinity before further aural damage occurrd.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
