DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Looking at this for a friend and was thinking $6.5, but most of the essential stuff seems to have been done.
How do you mean different to the others??? The G9 is the original twin at 500cc. Introduced post war, 1948 or something it was pretty well identical to the AJS Model 20 other than colour and trim. ie mufflers and badges n stuff. Solid but uninspiring bikes that always looked a little more 'vintage' than the same year Triumph Twins and never command the same $$

The motor grew in size to 600cc, 650cc and even a very rare 750cc version

The AJS/Matchless owners club has always been very active and I'd say that's about all I'd pay for it... Chroming the tank assumes no dents and bog under the paint which is highly unlikely not to mention expensive

Compared to those earlier Brit ones that looks to be a nice one for a nice price.

It was however, mechanically very sound - and it sold.

It read OK in the ad but cosmetically it wasn't that flash, if it was just something to ride it'd be alright but it's at that age where it deserves a bit more respect than that and had good bones to restore...hopefully who ever brought it gives it a bit of time instead of killing it
