You never see these old things for sale nowdays ?
For purely sentimental reasons I'd like to have another.
Had one of the first of these when they came out to NZ, rocketships could hear them coming a mile away, great little bikes, owned two of them, yes you dont see any around in good nick these days. These and the Ariel Arrow a mate had could go like hell, in their days.

Been over your side of the hill looking at properties, but just been through what I have still unpacked and only managed to find the Bob Brown rep articles regarding the Tingate framed special that ended up with the proper Verlicchi frame and parts spec'd to what was used in the original TT2...the build process and when it finally made it onto the road
The Rutter TT2 I think is in an issue of Motorcycle Sport but they're all buried and packed at present.
Did stumble across Rodney O'Connors "The Rat" Supermono and Dallas Rankine's "Fast n Fragile" BMS 851 in amongst the few mags still on the loose

I saw an Ariel Square Four on the road yesterday - apropos of nothing in particular.

Well, yes...But I could swear I've seen a period ad for a US model with speedblocks down the side of the tank.

Memory is not what it was so i might be wrong - or it might not have got past a pic for an ad.

Nah definitely not anything related to dairy that's for sure....I'm downsizing not up-sizing property thanks and having driven for an agricultural contractor for a number of years & worked in the throng of CASE IH for a few years that's as close as I'd ever want to get to the farming sector thanks.
Yeah the Streetbike mags & late 70s early 80s TwoWheels mags are the only ones bar a few 1960s mags are still out, the majority of the others are packed up.
The article on the BMS is when it was at 985cc using the same pistons as the Britten & through work done by Dick Huurdemann

Yeah there was an F like you remember but with the coffin tank. This bike cost me the G I had been eyeing up for a decade. In a strange twist of fate. But again the same bike (G) will come back to me. But at further cost. The F remains untouchable. I'll see it on Sunday. But I don't want that one.

"These are getting harder and harder to find"

Not really a remarkable example on a prestige marque
