On the 1st incarnation in 87 the twin throat Weber 44DCNF gave the bike a horrid flat spot @3000rpm (closer to a dead zone), they tamed it down in the later models but the damage/reputation was done plus they ran very hot too. Good handling (capable of matching a GSXR750J in tighter country) and comfy particularly for shorter riders
But the price is cheap by comparison to this one that's been listed for a few months now, might be the LTD version but it's only a paint job nothing else

mother of god that is a fuck up, oh how I hate steam punk, all I see when I look at this is some aged fat goth lady from Oamaru with a monocle and too many petticoats who somehow thinks the fact her husband rides a fucking penny farthing make them edgy and interesting, God I need some eye wash. Did I mention how much I hate steam punk. I'm trying to be positive but those studs on the muffler remind me of dirty used sex toys and could you possibly pick a worse combination of colours.

i just got my Honda ns 250 r in bits . have never ridden one of these bikes. saw a nsr 250 other day.
Dont realize how small compact they are tiny. power wieght must be insane. i know modern superbikes are faster.
more power . but thats two stroke power band . i still remmebr back for weeks exp on a it 400 yam. i never forgotten exp.
