Ohh I hope I don't fuck up their sale. No one post a link to this thread on their trademe add or I'll feel ever so guilty. That would be the tipping point.

Where would you park that shitter when it's not in use (always)?
Don't you look at my accountant.

It's one of the better looking versions of the breed I have seen.

Of concern though is the quality of the frame welding ........ guess it got compliance.

And the video in the TM advert is worthy of more discussion than the trike - there is some serious center-line hugging going on.

So what's the steering lock like being that the bars to wheel distance is super long? Are there some corners you would struggle to make.? Would you have to get off and walk it around to do a U-turn?

Actually I struggle to understand how Katman thinks this thread, which is somehow my fault, is spoiling people's sales and why he's taking it so personally we are mocking these morons. . . .

    Unless. . .

Most of the auctions must be Steve trying his hand out the backdoor on TardMe.

It's probably a conspiracy against him for which we are all playing a part.

    Maybe I've said too much.

The original post back in 2014. It appears this thread has grown from strength to strength with us taking the piss out of hundreds of listings. Brings a tear to the eye.

Yep, the gussets are all bullshit too, in fact the whole thing is an exercise in how not to design any sort of tubular structure.

And fuck me, look at the leading link pivot, it's a bolt, through a slotted light gauge fork tube.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

This would be worth a shit ton fully restored even though at the time they were pretty unreliable. This, well is a little worse for wear and good luck finding the missing parts for less than a kings ransom.

    In the answers,
Zane, To register the bike you need proof of ownership ie sales receipt, then a wof after the bike is restored and then it can be registered. As the bike is original and non modified there is no compliance or certification required. There are no original papers with this bike. Thanks for you enquiry. Cheers Steve10:25 pm, Sat 18 Aug

    And yet in the main text;

Crank case number is for a 600cc has had a 1000cc barrel fitted at some stage of it's life.

So, not std and normally that would mean LVV certificate.

    So

I suspect U-turns are done by a slight turn of the front wheel and smoke the rear wheels around the rest of the turn.

Why does everyone that does up a bike paint it black?
Black is such an ugly colour for a motorbike.
