There was some tosser used to ride an ex-Police Honda hereabout. No coloured lights though, but he was too fat to pull it off once you were aware of what he was doing.

I suggested to the CCMR that they introduce these as a Development Class for classic racing......

Can't see the difference between them and replica Manx Nortons ( other than than the lack of power)
I'd race em, imagine a field full of em all the same spec? Sign me up

Lump them in with the Gixxer cup . Prolly similar lap times.

Similar to that Harley cup back in the day I would imagine. Good honest racing

Very positive feedback, unlike the reaction from " The Committee" who wonder why no young people do classic racing.

Yes they might be slow but in a field of them would be good fun.

I'd say the Gixxer 150's would be faster.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

The 883 cup in the 90's provided some of the best racing in the nationals.

Yeah heard it mentioned a fair few times on here, stuff of legend. Did they make Potato Potato noises?

Closest we have had recently would be the Hyosung Cup I guess, but that wasn't national and if you took yours to the nationals you'd get pasted by the EX250s.
I'd consider the Gixxer cup but I'm too old for that so we need something spec level for those of us that don't want to or can't sink thousands into a 300cc bike to race nationally.

I started out in pre '89 but the cost to make a competitive bike there put me off a bit once I wanted to not be a back marker. Racing is expensive I guess . But a field of Enfields brapping round the track would be epic.

Meh, I took out a mates standard MZ in Bears and Epic was not a word that came to mind. More like Tedious. Imagine more of the same.
