Back when these were being launched BIKE took two, one with the Paul Smart on board, to a Ducati event at a track in Italy. The detail is blurry now but I do seem to recall that the bike was rated one of the most uncomfortable ever, although that wouldn't have been uppermost in Mr Smart's mind back in the day.

Interesting exchange when they arrived at the venue car park. There were passes for them, but the passes were in the pits, and there was a very large, very serious looking security guard on the gate between them and the pits. With arm waving and pidjin Italian they tried to explain the situation. When they finished he nodded at the bikes, "Is Ducati, is OK."

Mate of mine has the non Paul Smart one.....buried in the back of his garage collecting dust.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

I find the Italian ones are good for collecting dust.
The Paso would have to be the least desirable Ducati ever...I'd rather have the 500 parallel twin.

For $3k less you could have an actual Ducati collectable.

$2k for some of a motorcycle.

You'd think for that much it would at least have the exhaust wrap already done.

Given how incomplete it is how open is open to offers? Not sure how the low seat would go with the cylinders sticking out, have visions of a bizarre riding position to avoid burns to the inside of the knees.

I'd have to see it in the flesh, but if it's all done well I should think it's a thousand bucks all day.

That's nearly twice the coin , and $3k bid doesn't even own it. I'd much rather have the CX.
