Chain conversion eh? And decent front end.

But I don't care how much you've spent paying people. It ain't worth it.

This would be a neat hack to work bike if it weren't so ugly with 'mods'.

And devaluing it means it's not worth 4k

The story of them is quite intersting.
The original ones were build as a Race bike With a glued together with loctite frame from Tigcraft.
Until the Super-mono came along the 660 Yamaha was the engine to beat in SOS racing.
The original scorpion was styled by the same crew that desighned some famous kettles and toasters.
They also had the BSA name and were going to built a BSA with a similar frame ad a TDM/TRX engine, not sure if it was built.
If tyhey stuck to the original design it might have sold better.
the bike pictured has some quality looking running gear Brembo etc and what looks like supertrapp Exhausts

the original racer looked something like this

that said for a few dollars more you can buy a 748 or 749

Fucks sake $22,000. Seriously. Twenty two fucking thousand dollars.

You can get yourself a 2018 S1000r naked for that money with warranty and all the bells and whistles.

    $22,000 for a limp old XS1100.

I really question people. At what point when planning this build did someone think spending $25k on a old 80's standard was a good plan.

You could have kept the 1100 classic as an original bike (with some survivor value associated with that) and gone out and purchased a second NEW XXXX (add what you are into).

Seriously, they have just killed Easter.

Even Jesus would weep looking at that advert.

Don't be too sure about killing Easter. I just learnt its next week in orthodox calendar from random dog walking lady here. So jesus gets killed twice a year, heck maybe more times for other funny offshoots. Bet the 7th dayers do it 3 Thursdays from now.

So, ,. ,why did the devil just let him walk out of hell once he'd got him there? That part seems to be glossed over.

Some of this story is a bit unbelievable now you think about it.

I don't know much about diffs, universals, or cars for that matter.

But how long will that last with that fairly extreme angle of operation?
