today I learned those RE twins are 47hp. I really like that Triumph Street Twin scrambler - but there are two reasons I have not bought one: They are VERY expensive for what they are, and woefully underpowered. (mid 50's hp).

I sat on a cool little BMW yesterday - a custom. had the brown seat and everything. Really nicely done it was. Now I want one. I could live with that and its 40 or so hp.

Theres a tidy black CB750/4 for sale in your area, would be quite cool with header wrap & a brown seat.
Its probably packing around 67ish HP too!

Small framed BMWs are a hoot. I prefered my R65 far more than Dads R80.

it always amused me that the rear rim on the CBX 6 was the same size as a 1940's vincent 1000 twin....

SPYDA I sent you a pm. I've got a 2004 Cemetery Circuit Program-50th anniversary. On page 14 you have an article called "A bit on the side" which was around three pages. It's in very good condition. Do you want it? I if so pm me your address details and I'll have it sent off to you. Found it going through my old m/c magizines today. Probably could get a few bob on Tardme but would rather you have it.

    Almost.

Scenario: just had the weekend off. Nice. Party party party

Monday morning: text day boss 'won't be in today cos I am not feeling the best' can I have an extension on my sick days aye. Already used 5 in a month.

Complains got no money. Got no car license. Got a missus. Just managed 4 days at work and is a know it all.
Missus and family has all sorts of 'issues'
Still it's never his problem. It's the employer. Or the internet. Always manages to have alcohol, smokes, vapes.

Still I reckon you should crowd fund the bike, you deserve it.

And can you give me $5 and s bad of chips please mister.

Because I work with him and I have just finished almost 2 months no days off and worked 16 hours today. No sick days that I can remember ever using.

Don't intend to but you are quite welcome to pop in and pick it up. If nobody is home I'll mjust leave it on the table on the back covered porch. You just have to by aware of the half dozen dangerous neibours felions that roam our yard at times. Most of the time though there's someone home. I'll flick my details anyway just in case.

Speaking of Vincents, have you seen the Godet Egli that lives over the Waiararapa? I was over the last week, saw it stopped and spent a good half hour talking to the owner and trying not to drool too much. Thats my Lotto dream bike - happy to have seen it and insanely jealous all at once. Owner seems a really nice, down-to-earth guy.

I wonder if that helmet comes with the bike?
