I've been for a blat in one of those JCW Minis - I was very impressed with it. Not enough that I'd want to own one but it fair pinned my ears back.

You buy a family runabout with your head.
Yep, for me, I love the sound and feel of big v twins. So I have had suzukis, a Buell and Ducatis. An S4R Ducati is probably about the same price as an SV1000 comparatively. Bikes of this age tend to have ongoing reliability or breakdown issues. Esp charging systems and general rubberware perishing. Is a great shame the japs don't make a big bore v twin naked bike any more, I would have one!

The add is too well written for a stoner. Hes changed so many things on it, but it still looks like every other Harley I've seen this side of the crazy paint ones. What was the point again?

He'd need to. A new Street Bob can be had for $23,750 so his opening bid of 25,000 doesn't appeal over much.

Exactly - I'm really not sure what he was thinking with this. Reading the blurb it sounds as though he's changed loads of things only to find that he doesn't really like the outcome much.... And now wants rid.... For a lot of money.

I've ridden one and really liked it in terms of a motorbike doing motorbike-y things. Plus teh wimminz get their jimmies all rustled if you have a "Harley" TM so that's good, right?
