Inlet cam was profiled too. If it was all done well, 83 isn't impossible.

Scaled to a 750 that is 155HP at the rear wheel. Or at 1000cc its 207.5 HP
considering the works superbikes of that era were around mid 140's.
i think the dyno is very optimistic mids 80s would need a big bore kit to get that as those CBR's didn't have a shim able gear drive you cant deck the head to get comp.
i have a step by step tuning guide fo those motors somewhere. to get over the 70s was not that easy

    8and a half for this?

And no sir. That is not 'nearly finished '

    Oh God reading spiel

Regt on hold so no need to vin or reregister

Um yeah, but you will need an LVV to make it legal and get it through a WOF.

Busa forks. Yeah, they might need a slight respring and valve to make them suitable for a twin cylinder 500. Just saying.

I quite like the bike. Not too sure about the swing arm modification to fit that tyre.

CX prolly weighs about the same as a Busa, so not concerned about the forks.

The dash is $38 on Alliexpress. It's the same as i put on the Covid bike.

Legal it should be worth about $5k I'd have thought. $1500 as it sits now.

Wet weight of a Bus is about 270kg the internet sez and I'd suggest it is quite high up and far forward. They are big girls.

Edit: CX228kg wet. Jesus what were they feeding it? Still hes probably taken a bit off it and the have fat bums.

Surprised at 228kg. The CX400 motor in the shed feels like it weighs that much by itself.

Ever tried to move an RX7 motor? I dont know much about cars but it seemed excessive for the size of it. Maybe it had a bunch of iron castings. Was glad just not to be touching it after helping to move it like 4 ft.

My late lamented springer spaniel would've enjoyed a ride in that I'm sure.
